Issue Tracker
One of the basic tasks that a Project Manager performs is tracking issues that arise.  A common approach is to maintain a spreadsheet with cells to accommodate the details of the issue as well as any status information that is developed.  This approach is easy but limited in terms of the amount and type of information that can be captured.  I developed the application illustrated below so that I could record issues associated with multiple projects or work streams along with the tasks required to mitigate and the associated status information.  The second image shows one of the reports generated by the application.

Budget Tracker
Another basic project management task is to keep the customer informed about the status and projections of the budget.  In this particular case, a format for the report was provided in a template, but data collection and formatting was entirely manual.  This tool allows standard reports from external systems to be consumed in order to produce standard pages that reflect status from multiple views.
